About me

My Story

My name is Kris Schuld. I am a wife and mother of 3 wonderful children. A girl who is 7, and two boys, 4 & 2. The birth world has always interested me, I find passion in birth and assisting others in finding their voice for the type of birth journey that they want. Eight years ago while pregnant with my oldest, I felt the tug of my heart to dip my toes into the role as a doula, focusing on my education and training. I am now looking forward to diving into my work as a birth and postpartum doula.

For the last 7 years I have been serving others in a different way. I am currently a licensed cosmetologist and believe that everyone deserves to feel the best about themselves, whether it's through birth or self care. And I understand how difficult it is to make sure that your cup is full, so that you can take care of your new baby and family.

Each of my births were different from the previous. Being both overwhelming and spectacular--from not knowing I had any options with my first, a scary second, and an amazing waterbirth for my third. My entire goal as a doula is to know that every birthing individual and family realize that they have choices for their birth experience.

My Philosophy
My Training

My role as your doula is to hold space for you and your birth. The type of birth you want is mine to respect. Birth is an amazing, eye-opening, and sacred experience. Every birth is different and my goal is for every birthing individual to leave their birth feeling powerful. I support you in your decisions in how you want to birth.
