Services

Free Consultation

I would love to meet with you and to get to know more about the birth journey you have envisioned for yourself and your family.

Phone & Email Support

Once you have decided to include me in your birth journey, I will be available by email and by phone for questions and concerns. I will respond within 24 hours for non emergent questions, and as immediate as possible for emergent concerns.

2 Prenatal Visits

During prenatal visits we will go over your birth wishes, comfort measures that you would like during your birth, goals for breastfeeding and postpartum. We will also go over any other questions and concerns that you may have.

During Labor

Once labor starts I will come to you as soon as you need me to. I will meet you either at your home or birthing location. I will be with you for the duration of your birth. My focus is solely on the birthing individual. I will recommend optimal positions to bring the baby down and  birthing. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and powerful.

I am a Doula, I  Do Not:

Perform any clinical tasks

Clinical tasks are out of a Doulas scope of Practice. These tasks include but are not limited to, taking fetal heart tones, and vaginal exams.

Before I go

After the birth of your baby, I will stay with you for approximately 2 hours or until breastfeeding is established. Both you and your baby can feel energized and then feel very sleepy after your exciting day. I will make sure that you and family are comfortable before I leave you to enjoy your new little one.

Postpartum follow up visits

Approximately 1-2 days after your birth, usually your first day home, I like to have our first postpartum visit to go over your last 24 hours and your goals for the next. I also visit approximately 7-10 days after your birth to go over any other concerns you may have so you feel comfortable with your new bundle of joy.

Postpartum support

Having extra assistance during the first few weeks of your little one's life helps you transition into your day to day. Postpartum support can include help with establishing breastfeeding, diapering, baby sleeping patterns, as well as helping with small errands and assisting with meal prep. New parents also need rest or to take a shower, I am there to focus on baby so you can take care of yourself.

Make decisions for you

I truly believe that a doula is an advocate, but my job is to help you advocate for yourself. I respect your choices for the type of birth you want.

Speak to the staff on your behalf

I will respect your birth team by letting you and your partner speak to them regarding your birth wishes.

Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience

This is your birth, I am there to hold space for you and the birth experience you want.
